Storyline:
Prasanth visits Chitra’s home for a matchmaking event. He is a lazy and unmotivated individual who took five years to complete his BTech. Despite his aspiration to become a chef and open a restaurant, his father offers no support. Chitra, on the other hand, is a determined girl working hard to achieve her dream of moving to Australia, but her father shows little interest in her ambitions because she is a woman. During the matchmaking event, her younger cousin, Subhash, accidentally locks the door of a room that often jams, leaving Prasanth and Chitra trapped. To pass the time, they discuss their pasts.
Chitra shares that she was once in love with a North Indian man named Vikram. They had planned to start a food truck business together. While Vikram went to Delhi to discuss their relationship and business plans with his father, Chitra eagerly prepared by purchasing a truck to surprise him. However, Vikram never returned, driven by greed for dowry. Chitra and her father waited for him, but ultimately, they realized he would not come back, and her father arranged her marriage to someone else.
Prasanth reveals that he was unemployed and spent most of his time with his two friends. Though passionate about cooking, he and his friends only made cooking videos, which were not profitable. They tried creating prank videos but were caught by Prasanth’s father, ending their plan. Eventually, he got a job at a call center through his father’s recommendation. He started dating a girl to impress his friends, but she cheated on him. He discovered this when her other boyfriend called him at work, leading him to quit his job after a confrontation with his boss.
