Description: 150 years ago, Aghor Sen, a brilliant scientist from the village of Nischintipur, created a device capable of emitting sound waves that could put any living creature to sleep. An alien named Vik, exiled from the planet Nyapcha, landed near Nischintipur in his spacecraft. Upon learning about the invention, he attempted to steal it but was put to sleep by Aghor. After Aghor’s death, the device was lost.
Fast forward 150 years to the present day, Dr. Bhootnath Nondy discovers Aghor Sen’s diary, which mentions the device. Bhootnath deciphers the diary and announces his intention to find it at a science seminar. Begum, a gang leader, sends her henchmen after Bhootnath to seize the machine. The device is hidden in Aghor Sen’s laboratory, Patalghar, but accessing it requires solving mysterious clues from the diary. Meanwhile, foreigners begin arriving in Nischintipur to buy properties, complicating the situation. Begum and Bhootnath eventually team up in their quest for the machine.
Kartik, a bright and courageous boy, lives with his uncle, Subuddhi. They are informed by a lawyer that Kartik is the rightful heir to Aghor Sen’s laboratory. Upon arriving in Nischintipur, Begum offers to buy the property, but they refuse. Bhootnath befriends Kartik, and they grow closer.
Meanwhile, Vik awakens and begins searching frantically for the device that had put him to sleep. Subuddhi, who has joined the village theater, is tasked with finding an actor to portray Mahommadi Beg. He encounters Vik in the forest and selects him for the role.
Eventually, Bhootnath and Kartik uncover the path to Patalghar and rediscover the device. In a final confrontation, Begum and her gang perish in a battle with Vik. Through their combined efforts, Bhootnath and Kartik use the musical machine to put Vik back to sleep. Bhootnath then departs for Nyapcha with the unconscious alien, leaving Kartik on Earth to inherit the legacy of Aghor Sen and Bhootnath Nondy. In the chaos, the powerful machine is ultimately destroyed.
