Description: At her wedding, Uma, a wealthy socialite, receives praise from guests for her transformed demeanor. Later, her husband, Son, remarks on her newfound obedience. Two months prior, Uma wakes up on a mysterious island named Paradise and discovers she’s trapped. After attempting to escape, she’s caught by another resident, Amarna. Uma learns that Paradise is a rehabilitation center for defiant young women. She’s there because she rejected a marriage proposal her mother insisted she accept.
Uma befriends her roommates, Chloe and Yu, as well as Amarna, a famous singer sent to Paradise after conflicts with her management. Adjusting to island life, Uma’s boyfriend, Markus, sneaks in disguised as a gardener and pledges to rescue her. Amarna, feeling jealous, warns Uma to be cautious and reveals her own escape plan using a rowboat smuggled by her fans.
Before they can act, Amarna is informed of her early graduation. She advises Uma to save herself and Markus, revealing that the daily milk the girls consume is drugged to keep them asleep.
After a distressing treatment session reliving her father’s suicide, Uma is drugged and placed in solitary confinement. Upon awakening two weeks later, she meets the Duchess, the program’s overseer, and learns she’ll be sent home the next day. Determined to escape, Uma convinces Chloe and Yu to flee with her. However, Yu is taken for a final treatment. When Uma and Chloe attempt to rescue her, they are attacked by doctors and forced to fight back.
