Description: Pantham is a 2018 action film featuring a vigilante protagonist. The story begins with the main character eavesdropping on a phone conversation involving a medical mafia leader, Amith Rajvi, and a man named Nayak Bhai, who orders money to be sent via a goods train. The protagonist and his sidekick, Satti, manage to stop the train, enter the compartment with the money, fight off the guards, and decouple it before the next station. A partially deaf CBI officer quickly solves the case.
Later, the protagonist assists a wealthy woman in winning a horse race but later steals money from her safe. Jayendra, the home minister, is revealed to be Nayak Bhai, who is angered by the theft and orders the killings of both Rajvi and the woman. The CBI officer solves this case as well, providing evidence to Nayak, who then attacks numerous people out of suspicion. The health minister sends Nayak a photo of the protagonist, which is distributed to his goons. A cab driver, secretly Nayak’s henchman, brings the protagonist to the goons. After a fight, Nayak recruits the protagonist to catch the robber, as suggested by the health minister, who was impressed by the protagonist’s earlier car thefts.
The protagonist and Nayak’s men are sent to transfer money safely. With the help of three men, the protagonist tricks the goons into handing over the money. However, due to a tracker in the currency bag, the three men are captured and beaten. The protagonist reveals himself as the robber and defeats all the goons.
Later, the protagonist’s girlfriend, Akshara, and an elderly man, Tilak, are kidnapped and brought to Nayak. Tilak reveals the protagonist’s true identity: Vikranth Surana, the son of Anand Surana, a London-based businessman. Vikranth adored his mother, Durgadevi, but his father despised her social service activities, which didn’t generate income. The family moved to London for Anand’s business, where Durgadevi tragically passed away.
