Description: In 2036, a civil war erupts in Ukraine, prompting the US to deploy peacekeeping forces. During an operation, a team of United States Marines and robotic soldiers, known as “Gumps,” are ambushed. First Lieutenant Harp, a drone pilot, disobeys orders and launches a missile strike against a suspected enemy launcher, saving 38 lives but killing two Marines. As a result, Harp is punished and sent to Camp Nathaniel, the US base in Ukraine, where he is assigned to Captain Leo, an advanced android super-soldier disguised as a human officer.
Harp and Leo embark on a mission to stop terrorist Victor Koval from gaining control of Cold War-era nuclear missile silos. Under the guise of delivering vaccines to a refugee camp, they encounter armed locals and pro-Russian insurgents, leading to a series of confrontations. After reaching the refugee compound, they meet resistance leader Sofiya, who guides them to an arms dealer with information about a bank vault containing nuclear launch codes sought by Koval.
At the bank, Harp and Leo face Koval’s forces, including Gumps. While Harp rescues civilians caught in the crossfire, Leo retrieves the codes but fails to locate Koval. Harp calls in a drone strike that destroys the bank, leading the military to believe both Koval and Leo are dead.
