Set during the time of the Biblical Flood, “Ooops Noah is Gone” follows Dave, a Nestrian—a clumsy, quirky creature known for building cozy nests and releasing a foul-smelling blue gas whenever frightened. Constantly on the move, Dave searches for a permanent home, much to the frustration of his son, Finny, who longs to make friends.
When rumors of a massive, world-engulfing wave spread, Dave and Finny join a gathering of animals seeking refuge on Noah’s ark, a massive vessel built by a kind human named Noah. However, they are denied entry as they are not on the Lion’s official list—the authoritative figure managing the ark. Undeterred, Dave uses his Nestrian ingenuity, with some unintended assistance from the carnivorous Grymps, Hazel, and her daughter Leah, to sneak aboard.
Just as they think they’ve found safety, chaos ensues when Finny and Leah go missing. Their curiosity leads them to the scaffolding as the ark departs, leaving them stranded on the last remaining piece of land. Now, Dave and Hazel must race against time to reunite with their children.
Amid rising waters and a pair of menacing griffins, Leah—a natural hunter—and the awkward Finny form an unlikely partnership. Along the way, they befriend two other outcasts rejected from the ark: Obesey, a giant slug-like creature, and his tiny companion, Stayput. Together, they navigate perilous challenges, and Finny begins to uncover his inner bravery, transforming into an unexpected hero.
