One day, Henry discovers a stray horse with a blood-stained saddle. Upon investigating, he finds a severely injured man and a stash of cash. Henry decides to take the man in and save his life. Soon, three riders arrive at the farm, claiming to be lawmen but in reality, they are outlaws searching for the injured man and the money.
Despite being outnumbered, Henry refuses to hand over the stranger, who is also revealed to be an outlaw in disguise. A fierce confrontation ensues, and Henry successfully defeats the riders. However, his son Wyatt resents him for not allowing him to assist. The stranger later reveals his true identity as Billy the Kid before betraying Henry and shooting him. Wyatt, in turn, kills the stranger. Following his father’s final instructions, Wyatt buries Henry, who is revealed to have been Billy the Kid, and leaves the farm behind.
