Description: Olaf’s Frozen Adventure – 2017 Short Film
### Storyline:
It’s the first Christmas since the gates of Arendelle reopened, and Anna and Elsa host a celebration for the townspeople. However, the guests leave early to prepare their own holiday traditions, leaving the sisters to realize they have no family traditions of their own. Elsa reflects that her childhood isolation is the reason for this. Upon hearing her lament, Olaf and Sven decide to search for traditions that the sisters may adopt or adapt.
As Olaf explores the town, he discovers various family traditions related to Christmas, Hanukkah, and the Winter Solstice. After visiting Oaken, Olaf and Sven set off with a sleigh full of traditions. During their journey through the snowy tundra, a piece of coal from a portable sauna sets the sleigh on fire, causing them to slide down a hill. Olaf and Sven become separated by a chasm, and Olaf, armed only with a fruitcake, ventures through the forest alone, eventually being chased by wolves.
Meanwhile, Anna and Elsa find forgotten items in their attic. Sven returns to Kristoff and attempts to alert Anna and Elsa about Olaf’s predicament. The sisters gather the residents of Arendelle to search for Olaf. Elsewhere, Olaf escapes the wolves but loses the fruitcake to a hawk. Exhausted, he rests by a tree near the kingdom. Anna and Elsa find him and cheer him up by revealing that they do have a tradition: Olaf himself. After their separation, Anna began sliding cards and Olaf dolls under Elsa’s door every year.
As they celebrate the holidays together, the hawk drops the fruitcake back to Olaf, who declares it a “Christmas miracle.”
