**Storyline:**
Shiuli Iyer and Danish “Dan” Walia, both interns at the same hotel, couldn’t be more different. Shiuli is disciplined and dedicated to her work, while Dan is careless and irresponsible. Dan struggles to perform well in his job, often clashing with his colleagues, except for two friends who also work as interns at the hotel.
On New Year’s Eve, Shiuli and her friends celebrate on the hotel’s fourth floor, while Dan is absent. During the celebration, Shiuli accidentally slips and is hospitalized. Although the rest of the staff visits her in the hospital, Dan is deeply affected when he learns that Shiuli’s last words before her fall were, “Where is Dan?”
Dan begins visiting Shiuli daily, even though it harms his job and strains his relationships with his friends, who cover his shifts and support him financially. After a conflict at the hotel, Dan is fired. However, he finds solace in spending time with Shiuli, whose condition improves with his presence. Dan devotes himself entirely to her care, sacrificing his own well-being.
Seeing Dan’s life unravel due to his devotion, Shiuli’s mother, Vidya, urges him to prioritize himself. Dan takes a job as a hotel manager in Kullu but struggles to forget Shiuli. When he learns of her declining health, he rushes back to the hospital, apologizes for leaving her, and promises to stay by her side.
Shiuli’s condition stabilizes, and she is eventually discharged from the hospital. Dan continues caring for her at home. During a visit to the park, Dan asks why she called out for him before her fall. Shiuli tries to say his name in response. Tragically, that night, Shiuli suffers a seizure and passes away due to collapsed lungs.
Heartbroken, Dan visits Shiuli’s family to offer comfort. Months later, he is rehired by the hotel where he completes his diploma and begins working as a sous chef.
