Description: “Ocean’s Thirteen,” a 2007 film, follows the story of Reuben Tishkoff, who invests in a hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip. However, Bank’s thugs force Reuben to surrender his ownership stake, leading to a heart attack that leaves him bedridden. Saul Bloom impersonates the anonymous Diamond reviewer while the team ensures the real reviewer has a terrible experience. Second, they aim to rig the casino’s games to payout millions in winnings. Bank’s casino must earn $500 million on opening night to remain operational; otherwise, control will transfer to the gaming board. The team faces a challenge in bypassing “The Greco,” an advanced computer system that detects cheating by monitoring players’ biometric responses. To disrupt it, they gift Bank a magnetron disguised as a cell phone. Additionally, they acquire a drilling machine used for the Channel Tunnel to simulate an earthquake under the casino, forcing an evacuation.
On opening night, their plan unfolds as follows: Bank unknowingly disrupts “The Greco” with his new phone, allowing the rigged games to operate. Players win substantial amounts, and the simulated earthquake forces an evacuation, leaving Bank with massive losses. This intricate scheme ensures justice for Reuben and exposes Bank’s greed and arrogance.
