**Plot Summary:**
The story begins with John Baby (played by Kunchacko Boban), a District Court Judge, who gets involved in a car accident. After being discharged from the hospital, he is advised to wear a protective face mask until his nose heals. As he returns to his routine, strange occurrences begin to plague him, likely due to hallucinations stemming from the accident. Meanwhile, his friend Shalini (Divya Prabha), a child psychiatrist, approaches him with a peculiar case involving one of her patients.
Nitin, an eight-year-old boy, shares a chilling story of murder with his classmates, which captures John Baby’s attention. Intrigued, Baby and Shalini visit Nitin’s mother, Sharmila (Nayanthara), to discuss the boy’s claims. Initially reluctant, Sharmila eventually allows them to speak with Nitin, who appears to be a normal, lively child. Baby decides to investigate the location mentioned in the boy’s story with the help of the police, leading to the discovery of a human skull buried under a pond.
As the trio delves deeper into the mystery, they grow closer. To uncover the truth behind the boy’s stories, Sharmila, Baby, and Nitin visit the home of an elderly man who was like a godfather to Nitin. During their stay, Baby experiences unsettling visions and later stumbles upon a shocking revelation: Sharmila has been recounting murder stories in her sleep, which Nitin has been sharing.
After returning home, Baby discusses his findings with his friends. When Sharmila arrives, he confronts her with the truth, leaving her stunned. Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery, Baby questions Sharmila about her mother, despite her discomfort.
