Description: Actress Falaque Rashid Roy is thrilled to be part of director Sayantan Ghosal’s upcoming thriller, *Nirbandhamer Jora Khun*. After her cameo in Raj Chakraborty’s *Parineeta*, Falaque takes on the role of a struggling actress and mother in this film, which also features Tnusree Chakraborty as a police officer. Reflecting on her experience with Sayantan, Falaque shared, “The shooting wraps up in two days, and working with him has been amazing. He’s calm and relaxed on set, giving actors the freedom to explore their characters and improvise. This approach really helped me, especially since I’m playing the lead role. His encouragement after every take was incredibly motivating.”
When asked about her connection to her character, Falaque explained, “My character, Riyanka, is an aspiring actress who often takes on supporting roles in TV serials. She’s also a mother to a seven-year-old girl. Despite her love marriage, her in-laws disapprove of her career in entertainment. Riyanka’s determination to be financially independent, even with a possessive husband, resonates with me. While my real-life husband, Neil Roy, has always supported my career, I relate to Riyanka’s humble background and her drive to succeed in acting.”
