Description: Angie, an overworked spinal surgeon, has missed the last two Christmases due to her parents’ recent divorce. Instead of returning home for the holidays, Angie spends time drinking Christmas cocktails with her colleague Sabrina. During their conversation, Angie reminisces about her past relationship with Tyler Grant, a well-known sports commentator. Although Tyler proposed to her on Christmas, Angie declined the offer. Despite this, she remembers it as the last truly joyful Christmas with her family.
While the friends are scrolling through Tyler’s social media, Ben Lee, a childhood friend, unexpectedly appears at the bar. He asks Angie about her sister Kristen’s adoption, but Angie knows nothing about it since she has lost touch with her family. On her way home to Yonkers, Angie encounters a quirky ticket agent, portrayed by Christopher Lloyd. He speaks to her about the magic of Christmas and books her on a roundtrip train departing at 10:15 pm, encouraging her to slow down and appreciate life. Angie boards the train and quickly falls asleep.
When she wakes up, Angie finds the train decorated festively, and to her surprise, Tyler Grant is there. He mentions his excitement about meeting her parents. Angie, confused, kisses him to confirm he’s real and then hurries away. She finds Christopher Lloyd in another train car and demands an explanation. Angie’s phone appears outdated, and when she calls her hospital, no one recognizes her. Attempting to return home, she discovers half of her ticket is missing.
Angie soon realizes she has traveled back to 2011, heading to her hometown for what she remembers as the last “good” Christmas. Convinced it’s a dream, she is picked up by her father, George, who takes her home to reunite with her joyful family and their cherished Christmas traditions.
