**Storyline:**
Mai, a teenage girl, lives in Grainland with her mother, Molly. Her father abandoned them when she was young, and since then, Molly has relied heavily on robots, leaving Mai feeling neglected. One day, they attend a product launch at IQ Robotics headquarters. Frustrated with her mother, Mai wanders off and stumbles into the secret lab of Dr. Tanner Rice, who has been developing an attack robot named 7723. Mai accidentally activates 7723 before being caught by security and returned to her mother. At the event, Justin Pin, CEO of IQ Robotics, unveils a new line of Q-Bots to the public, but these robots are secretly programmed to explode.
7723 escapes from Rice’s lab to find Mai but is chased by the city police. Using his weapon systems, he fights back, prompting the police to respond with lethal force. He eventually falls into the lower levels of the city, damaging his memory core. Later, Mai discovers 7723 in her backyard while checking on her dog, Momo. Initially hesitant, she allows him to stay in her shed after witnessing his advanced capabilities. Together, they confront school bullies by destroying their Q-Bots and embark on a series of adventures across the city. However, as 7723 accumulates more memories, he faces a dilemma: his memory is nearing full capacity, and once it’s reached, he will undergo a system reset, erasing all his memories. Mai suggests deleting his core systems to free up space, but this would compromise his functionality.
Eventually, 7723 becomes reluctant to use his abilities under Mai’s orders and refuses to harm the school bully leader when Mai demands it. Instead, Mai takes matters into her own hands, using her bat to confront the bully but stopping when the bully begins to cry. 7723 decides to delete his weapon system to save his memories and prevent further harm. He promises Mai he will never let her down again. However, Molly’s Q-Bot unknowingly observes this, leading Dr. Rice to locate 7723 and attempt to format his memory, taking him away from Mai.
