The story follows Praveen Michael (Kunchacko Boban), who rejoins the police force as a civil police officer at a new station. Alongside him are CPO Sunitha (Nimisha Sajayan) and ASI Maniyan (Joju George). Trouble begins when a local political goon, linked to Sunitha, is arrested after causing disturbances. Despite being locked up, he is released without charges due to his Dalit party’s political influence.
A series of events leads to the three police officers being falsely accused of murdering one of the goon’s accomplices. Under increasing political pressure to frame them, they flee to Munnar, where they seek refuge with an old acquaintance of Maniyan.
The chief minister becomes directly involved due to an upcoming by-election, where the Dalit organization’s support is crucial. A team of senior police officers is sent to capture the fugitives but faces challenges due to their strategic hiding spot. Meanwhile, the police stage a charade, announcing the arrest of the trio and parading dummies with covered faces.
When the police finally locate them, they discover Maniyan dead, hanging from a tree with a suicide note recorded on his phone. Praveen and Sunitha are arrested and brought back alongside Maniyan’s body.
The police attempt to frame Maniyan for the Dalit youth’s death, coercing Praveen and Sunitha to corroborate the story. However, the two refuse to comply. The film concludes as they are transported to court in a police vehicle during the ongoing election.
