Description: Mi-ran, a talented dance student portrayed by Park Hyun-jin, becomes the muse, model, and lover of her sculptor professor, Jun-hyuk, played by Lee Sung-jae, who is known for his unfaithful behavior. Realizing she will never be more than a model to him, Mi-ran leaves Jun-hyuk for Min-woo, a fellow student and her persistent admirer, played by Kim Ji-hoon.
The story unfolds ten years later when Min-woo and Jun-hyuk meet again, now as an art critic and an interviewee. Together, they revisit their conflicting memories of Mi-ran, who appears to have vanished since their last encounters.
The plot centers around Hwang Jun-hyuk, who has just unveiled his first public art exhibition in a decade, featuring a bronze nude sculpture titled “Natali.” After the event, Min-woo arrives, attempting to purchase the sculpture and claiming it is based on Mi-ran, a woman both men were connected to. When Jun-hyuk refuses to sell the statue, Min-woo demands to know the details of Jun-hyuk’s relationship with Mi-ran. As Jun-hyuk shares his story, Min-woo begins to reveal secrets of his own.
The film opens with a passionate scene between Mi-ran and Jun-hyuk, setting an initial tone of sensuality and eroticism. However, despite its suggestive start, the film’s explicit content is relatively mild by modern standards, featuring only occasional instances of nudity. Compared to other South Korean films like *Happy End*, *Green Chair*, and *The Housemaid* (2010), *Natali* lacks the same depth of storytelling and emotional intensity.
