**Storyline:**
*Naane Varuvean* (meaning “I will come myself”) is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language horror thriller film written by Dhanush and directed by Selvaraghavan, featuring both in prominent roles. Dhanush plays a dual role for the third time, following *Kodi* and *Pattas*. The movie reunites Dhanush with Selvaraghavan after *Mayakkam Enna*. The story revolves around Prabhu and Kathir, identical twins with contrasting personalities. Prabhu is gentle and sincere, while Kathir is rebellious and troublesome, often angering their father. Their mother refuses to report Kathir to the police and instead seeks guidance from a local saint, who advises that the twins cannot coexist and must be separated to save one. Reluctantly, their mother abandons Kathir in a temple and flees with Prabhu.
Years later, Prabhu leads a stable life as a devoted family man with his wife Bhuvana and daughter Sathya. However, their peaceful existence is disrupted when Sathya, at age 12, begins exhibiting signs of schizophrenia. She starts talking to an unseen presence and struggles with sleep. Concerned, Prabhu installs a baby monitor in her room to investigate. The recordings reveal Sathya conversing with an unknown entity, who warns her to destroy the monitor or else Prabhu will be killed. Terrified, Sathya smashes the monitor and throws it out of the room, leaving Prabhu and his family in a state of fear and uncertainty.
