Everything changes when Rio’s photos are mistakenly mixed up at a store with those of college professor Kouki Ozawa. Meeting the 35-year-old professor, Rio experiences love for the first time. Confused by her emotions, she transforms from a confident, mature individual into a lovestruck schoolgirl. She begins to follow Kouki, asks for his tutoring, and expresses her desire to date him.
Although Kouki becomes intrigued by Rio, he hesitates to pursue a relationship due to a hidden reason. Despite his resistance, Rio insists on being with him and starts improving her life to win his affection. Suddenly, Kouki disappears without explanation, leaving Rio heartbroken.
With the help of her friends and one of Kouki’s relatives, Rio discovers that he has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Kouki distanced himself to spare her the pain of his inevitable fate. The film beautifully captures Rio’s journey of love, loss, and personal growth.
