Description: The story of “Scooby-Doo! Music of the Vampire” begins with a song by Tulie, a bayou dweller, narrating the tale of Valdronya and the Mystery Inc. gang. After solving the mystery of a Cockroach Monster haunting a factory, Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby decide to take a well-earned break. Velma drives the group to Petit Chauve Sourie Ville, a small Louisiana town hosting a vampire festival called “Vampire Palooza.” There, they meet Lita Rutland, the festival organizer, who explains that tourism has declined, and the event is facing financial losses.
The gang also encounters Vincent Van Helsing, a descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, who runs a vampire museum and writes books, though his works aren’t selling well. Jesper Poubelle, a mayoral candidate and anti-vampire activist, stirs up trouble by protesting the festival. Van Helsing takes the gang to his museum, showcasing an ancient book about vampires, a jeweled necklace and tiara belonging to a vampire bride, and a glass casket containing the dormant body of Valdronya, a centuries-old vampire.
Later, the group attends a performance by a troupe of actors dedicated to the vampire lifestyle, performing only at night. Their leader, Bram, who catches Daphne’s attention, announces a vampire resurrection ritual. However, the ritual unexpectedly leads to the appearance of the resurrected Valdronya, who flies away. Back at the museum, the gang discovers the bridal jewelry is missing, and the casket is empty, despite its seal remaining intact. Meanwhile, Lita Rutland seizes the opportunity for publicity by fabricating a story about a vampire attack, while Mayor Poubelle benefits from media exposure for his anti-vampire campaign.
