Description: Mr. Bean wins a holiday trip to Cannes, a video camera, and €200 in a raffle. Before boarding his train, he causes chaos at a Paris restaurant while trying French seafood. At Gare de Lyon, Mr. Bean asks a Russian film director, Emil Duchevsky, to record him boarding the train with his new camera. After multiple retakes, the train departs with Bean and Duchevsky’s son, Stepan, on board, leaving the director behind.
Bean and Stepan exit at the next station. When Duchevsky’s train passes without stopping, he displays his phone number but accidentally hides the last two digits, making it impossible to reach him. Bean and Stepan board another train but are kicked off after Bean forgets his wallet, passport, and ticket in a phone booth.
To continue their journey, Bean performs as a street mime to earn bus tickets to Cannes. However, he loses both his ticket and Stepan, forcing him to walk and hitchhike. The next day, Bean wakes up in what seems like a French village under attack by German soldiers, only to discover it’s a film set for a yogurt commercial. He briefly works as an extra but is fired after accidentally destroying the set while filming with his camera.
While hitchhiking, Bean is picked up by French actress Sabine, who is heading to the 2006 Cannes Film Festival for her debut film premiere. At a rest stop, they find Stepan dancing with a band and take him along. The trio drives through the night. Sabine later learns that Bean is suspected of kidnapping Stepan but chooses not to report it to avoid missing her premiere. To evade suspicion, she disguises Bean and Stepan as her mother and daughter to gain entry to the festival.
