Description: Set in a distant future, the Earth’s cities now roam on massive wheels, consuming one another in a fierce battle for dwindling resources. In this world, the story follows Tom Natsworthy, a young apprentice historian living in the mobile city of London. His life takes a dramatic turn when he crosses paths with Hester Shaw, a mysterious woman from the wastelands. Hester seeks revenge against Thaddeus Valentine, the head of London’s Guild of Historians, whom she accuses of murdering her mother and disfiguring her face.
After intervening in her attempted assassination, Tom is thrown into a dangerous journey alongside Hester. Together, they navigate the treacherous Hunting Ground, evading threats like scavengers and a relentless cyborg called Shrike, who was sent to hunt them down. Along the way, Hester reveals her tragic past—how Valentine killed her mother, Pandora, and stole a powerful piece of ancient technology.
Meanwhile, in London, Valentine’s daughter Katherine begins to uncover her father’s dark secrets, particularly his mysterious energy project within St. Paul’s Cathedral. As Tom and Hester fight for survival, they join forces with Anna Fang, an agent of the Anti-Traction League, who opposes the mobile cities’ destructive ways.
The film explores themes of revenge, survival, and the consequences of unchecked ambition in a world where humanity has adapted to a harsh and ever-changing landscape.
