**Storyline:**

Later, Jim Phelps receives instructions for a new mission while in flight. The team gathers in Prague to prevent an Eastern European diplomat, Golitsyn, from stealing the NOC list—a classified document containing the identities of all undercover agents in Eastern. Initially, the mission proceeds smoothly. The team achieves their objectives and secures video evidence of Golitsyn stealing the NOC list and leaving the building. However, things take a tragic turn when Jack, one of the team members, dies in a freak elevator accident while chasing Golitsyn. Other team members, Hannah Williams and Claire, are killed in a car bombing, and Jim Phelps is assassinated by an unknown assailant on the Charles Bridge. Sarah, another team member, follows Ethan’s orders to pursue Golitsyn but is also killed by the same assassin. By the time Ethan arrives, he discovers his entire team has been wiped out, and the stolen disc is missing.
