**Storyline:**
The accident-prone agents, who have been entertaining Spanish children and their parents since the late 1950s, take a leap into CGI with *Mortadelo and Filemon: Mission Implausible*. This film successfully combines the spirit of the original comic with modern, high-tech visuals, pleasing both long-time fans and new audiences. The movie follows the hilarious adventures of Mortadelo and Filemon, two bumbling agents working for a criminal investigation agency.
After Filemon (*Janfri Topera*) wakes from a dream, the story returns to their chaotic world filled with malfunctioning gadgets, slapstick humor, and comical violence—reminiscent of a mix between *Looney Tunes* and *Wallace and Gromit*. Mortadelo (*Karra Elejalde*), a master of disguise but not much else, and his hot-headed boss are tasked with recovering a stolen safe from the TIA building (not CIA). Their mission becomes more complicated with the appearance of Jimmy the Joker (*Gabriel Chame*), a villainous figure, and Tronchamulas (*Victor Monigote*), a massive, violent criminal seeking revenge on Filemon.
Adding to the chaos, Professor Bacterio invents a serum called Reversicine, intended to make Mortadelo and Filemon smarter. However, Tronchamulas accidentally receives the serum, transforming him into a gentle, child-like figure—while also revealing his familial connection to Jimmy.
