**Plot Summary:**
Ki-joon (Park Seo-joon) and Hee-yeol (Kang Ha-neul) are cadets at the Korean National Police University. One night, while returning from a club, they witness a kidnapping. Despite reporting the incident, the local police station is preoccupied with another high-profile kidnapping case and unable to assist. Realizing the urgency of the situation, the two take matters into their own hands and launch an amateur investigation.
When they track down the kidnappers, they discover the gang is involved in an illegal unfertilized egg harvesting operation, with numerous girls held captive at their hideout. Ki-joon and Hee-yeol attempt to rescue the victims but are overpowered, beaten, and imprisoned. After escaping, they return to the hideout the next day, only to find it abandoned. Their professor advises them to cease their involvement, but the duo refuses to wait for the slow-moving bureaucracy to act.
Undergoing intense physical training and utilizing CCTV footage, they trace the kidnappers to a fertility clinic. Better prepared this time, they arm themselves and storm the clinic to free the captives. In a fierce confrontation, they defeat the kidnappers and their leader. Knowing they cannot officially arrest the criminals or rescue all the girls alone, they call the police for backup, fully aware they may face expulsion for their actions.
Despite potential consequences, the disciplinary committee acknowledges their moral courage and decides to hold them back a year in their studies, assigning them 500 hours of community service instead of expulsion. Both Ki-joon and Hee-yeol accept this outcome, feeling satisfied with their efforts.
In a mid-credit scene, the girl they initially rescued visits them during their community service to express her gratitude for saving her life.
