The kidnappings continue, and Sam begins to piece together the killer’s profile: an eccentric individual with a limp, who harbors intense feelings toward women. The killer leaves cryptic clues carved into the victims’ chests using a surgical knife.
These clues, written in Aramaic—the language of Jesus—lead Sam to biblical proverbs. He deduces that the killer is deranged, believing the victims must atone for the sins of their wives. Sam connects the cases to the wives’ shared past with a mysterious man from their past, though no concrete evidence of his existence is found.
The film follows Sam’s relentless pursuit of justice as he battles his inner demons while unraveling the dark and twisted motives behind the kidnappings.
