The story follows Ana, a former hotel worker, who abandons her old life to join a group of women living on a submarine near an island engulfed in perpetual war. During her time there, Ana hones her instincts for survival. At first, she embraces her newfound freedom, but she soon uncovers the disturbing truth about the group: they send radio signals to lure soldiers to their deaths and kill other men to assert their dominance, proving women should not be underestimated. Horrified by their actions, Ana realizes she is not a killer. With the help of some soldiers, she turns against the women she once allied with.
