Shivani’s connection to Pyaari began earlier when she rescued the girl from her uncle, who intended to sell her. Taking on the role of Pyaari’s protector, Shivani is now compelled to go beyond her official duties to save her. Karan, aware of Shivani’s pursuit, retaliates by spreading false allegations about her husband, a doctor, tarnishing his reputation and forcing him out of his profession. As a chilling warning, Karan sends Pyaari’s severed finger to Shivani’s home, intensifying the psychological battle between them.
Refusing to back down, Shivani travels to Delhi, setting up an elaborate trap involving decoy drug dealers from Nigeria. They pose as suppliers of rare South American cocaine, aiming to lure Karan and his associate, Wakeel, into a confrontation. The film, “Mardaani,” features Rani Mukerji in a powerful and intense role, showcasing her transformation into a fearless officer determined to bring justice and confront the evils of child exploitation.
