Description: Mahesh Narayanan’s *Malik* is an expansive tale that spans several decades in the life of Ahammadali Sulaiman, portrayed by Fahadh Faasil. Sulaiman is a multifaceted character who embodies different roles for various people. He is a revered and influential community leader in the coastal regions of Ramadapally and Edavathura in Kerala. However, to the state, he is a terror suspect, and to certain ministers, he is a stubborn obstacle in their pursuit of quick profits.

From the outset, as the ominous score by Sushin Shyam accompanies the opening credits, it becomes clear that *Malik* is in capable hands. The collaboration of writer, director, and editor Mahesh Narayanan, along with actors Fahadh, Nimisha Sajayan, and Dileesh Pothan, as well as cinematographer Sanu John Varghese, ensures a compelling cinematic experience.
