**Storyline:**
Frankie (Maya Hawke, known for *Stranger Things* and daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke) struggles to find her place in Hollywood. She works as a bartender at a kitschy nightclub named Magic Alley, enduring constant criticism from her condescending manager and even being forced to wear a baby costume for awkward stage performances. Her mother leaves a voicemail urging her to move back home since she’s not attending classes and is only creating “weird videos” for the internet. Frankie doesn’t respond, and honestly, it’s hard to blame her.
One day, Frankie films a man in a mouse costume handing out cheese samples. The man, Link (Andrew Garfield), questions why she’s recording him. Frankie explains she’s not filming him but rather the striking painting on the wall behind him that everyone ignores. Link, intrigued, removes his mouse head and starts loudly drawing attention to the painting, eventually attracting a crowd. Frankie’s video goes viral, garnering countless likes and views. This unexpected encounter marks the start of an unusual friendship.
