Description: “LSD: Love, Sex aur Dhokha” is a 2010 film that explores interconnected stories of love, betrayal, and deceit. The narrative begins with Rahul, a young aspiring filmmaker in his early 20s, who decides to create a low-budget movie as part of his film course. During auditions, he meets Shruti, a young woman from a conservative family, and casts her as the lead. As their relationship deepens, Shruti’s overbearing brother discovers their connection and aggressively confronts Rahul. Despite family objections, Shruti and Rahul elope and marry. However, their happiness is short-lived, as her brother orchestrates a brutal ambush, resulting in their tragic murders.
Meanwhile, Shruti’s friend Rashmi, a reserved supermarket night-shift worker, becomes entangled in a manipulative scheme led by Adarsh, a supervisor with questionable morals. Adarsh plans to create and sell explicit content featuring Rashmi to settle his debts. Although he develops genuine feelings for her, his greed ultimately prevails. Rashmi, already devastated by the deaths of Shruti and Rahul, falls victim to Adarsh’s exploitation. The fallout leaves Rashmi jobless and estranged from her family, while Adarsh escapes unscathed.
The film delves into themes of love, manipulation, and societal corruption, offering a raw and unsettling portrayal of human relationships.
