Description: Zoe and Veer meet at a bar and decide to spend the night together at Veer’s home. However, Veer stops Zoe, saying the timing isn’t right. Angry, Zoe leaves, but Veer continues to follow her until she confronts him and asks him to stop. In a flashback to 1990s Udaipur, Leena and Raghuvendra “Raghu” Singh have a similar conversation. In the present, Veer drops Zoe off for an interview at the Mehta Group’s office, and their relationship begins to develop.
Raghu, a former medical student who left Udaipur, now owns several restaurants in Delhi, including the café Zoe frequently visits. He shares his story with her, revealing he was once involved with his childhood sweetheart, Leena, and implies he is the grown-up version of Veer. Raghu describes how he treated Leena similarly to how Veer treats Zoe, recounting their childhood memories and how he once asked Leena to dance.
The flashback shows Raghu and Leena secretly meeting, with Raghu leaving everything behind to move to Delhi for her, abandoning his studies. Later, Zoe mistakenly believes a woman with Raghu is Leena, but Raghu clarifies he left Leena to chase his big-city dreams. Zoe’s mother advises her that she can’t balance love and a career simultaneously. Zoe visits Veer’s parents but leaves in tears. Veer tells Raghu about Zoe’s actions, and Raghu, feeling responsible, helps her secure a job.
Days later, Zoe sees Veer with another girl and is heartbroken. She tries to connect with others but doesn’t find anyone she likes. After getting drunk at a bar, the man she’s with refuses to take her home, so Veer steps in and ensures she gets back safely.
