Description: Nicola Six possesses clairvoyant abilities and learns that she will be murdered by one of three men. To identify the killer, she starts relationships with all three. The story follows Samson Young, a terminally ill American writer who moves to London and swaps apartments with another writer, Mark Asprey. He is introduced to Keith Talent, a crude yet skilled darts player, and Guy Clinch, a wealthy man trapped in an unhappy marriage. Keith and Guy both encounter Nicola Six, a mysterious woman who has recently attended a funeral. Samson becomes fascinated by Nicola after discovering books she discarded, which reveal her ability to foresee deaths. He asks her to be the central character in his novel, and through hidden recording devices, he observes her life. Nicola manipulates Guy, who becomes protective of her and eventually develops a romantic relationship with her.
