Plot Overview:
Two travel bloggers venture to Araku to capture exciting footage, only to find themselves caught in the escalating conflict between naxals and the police. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, known for films like *Venkatadri Express* and *Krishnarjuna Yuddham*, *Like, Share & Subscribe* aims to be a self-aware narrative. While it avoids becoming a cautionary tale about the digital age, it struggles to elevate a familiar story of protagonists unwittingly caught in a battle they didn’t start.
Viplav (Santosh Shoban), an aspiring travel vlogger, partners with a cameraman, Jack Daniels (Sudarshan), to grow his follower count. Through his channel, *Guvva Vihari*, he hopes to emulate the success of his crush, Vasudha (Faria Abdullah), a popular Telugu vlogger from Delhi. Meanwhile, tensions rise between the police, led by DGP Narendra Varma, and the People’s Protection Force (PPF), commanded by Gopanna. The lush landscape of Araku becomes a battleground, with the three vloggers trapped in the chaos.
*Like, Share & Subscribe*, while intriguing on paper, falls short in execution. Viplav’s character, though endearing, often borders on annoying, and unlike typical Telugu heroes, he’s far from a fighter. Vasudha, a skilled kickboxer, shines as a capable and independent woman. The film’s attempt to justify unnecessary action sequences with casual humor works sporadically but fails to inject the seriousness needed for pivotal moments. Overall, the movie struggles to balance its tone, leaving much to be desired.
