Cyrus is a famed international thief who leads a skilled heist team consisting of insider Denton, pilot Camila, hacker Mi-Sun, safecracker Magnus, and engineer Luke. They execute two heists simultaneously: one involves stealing a priceless Van Gogh painting in London, while the other entails faking the kidnapping of prominent NFT artist N8 in Venice.
However, Interpol agent Abby Gladwell, who has a past relationship with Cyrus, discovers evidence connecting Denton, Luke, and Magnus to the crimes. Instead of charging the crew, Commander Huxley, Abby’s superior, uses their legal issues to compel them to assist in capturing banker and terrorist mastermind Lars Jorgenson. As part of the arrangement, Cyrus demands that Abby join the operation, providing Interpol’s cover.
Jorgenson collaborates with the hacking group Leviathan to execute a terrorist attack in Europe, enabling him to amass billions through stock manipulation. Since Leviathan requires payment in gold bullion, Jorgenson orchestrates the shipment of gold from his vault in London to be transported to their bank in Zurich using a commercial airliner.
