Description: Kavin, known for *Bigg Boss Tamil 3*, stars in the highly anticipated survival thriller *Lift*, which is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on October 1. The film, also featuring Amritha Aiyer, was originally planned for a theatrical release but was postponed due to pandemic-related restrictions. Directed by debutant Vineeth Varaprasad and produced by Hepzi under EKAA Entertainment, *Lift* follows the story of two IT professionals, Guru and Harini, who find themselves trapped in a haunted workplace.
The film’s production was completed before the pandemic in March 2020, with post-production work continuing afterward. The technical team includes cinematographer Yuva, music composer Michael Britto, and editor G Madan. *Lift* gained attention after the release of its song *Inna Mylu*, sung by Sivakarthikeyan and Poovaiyar, which has garnered 30 million views on YouTube. The trailer was released on September 24.
