The story follows Stéphane Ruiz, a newcomer to Paris who joins the city’s anti-crime brigade. Assigned to work with squad leader Chris and brigadier Gwada in Montfermeil, Stéphane witnesses Chris’s aggressive abuse of power toward teenagers, which Gwada passively accepts. Though uneasy, Stéphane hesitates to intervene.
The plot intensifies when Issa, a known juvenile delinquent, steals a lion cub named Johnny from a circus. The circus owner, Zorro, threatens to retaliate with firearms if the cub isn’t returned. Chris and his team are tasked with recovering the cub. After a photo of Issa with the cub surfaces on Instagram, Chris identifies and apprehends him. However, Issa claims the cub escaped.
During the arrest, Issa’s friends attack the officers, prompting Gwada to accidentally fire a flash-ball at Issa’s face, severely injuring him. A drone captures the incident, compelling the officers to track down its owner to prevent the video from being leaked. Ignoring Stéphane’s insistence to take Issa to a hospital, Chris and Gwada prioritize finding the drone. They eventually locate Buzz, the drone’s owner, but he flees before they can stop the video’s release.
