A new hero named Shazam has emerged, capturing the media’s attention with his sudden appearance and polite demeanor. What the public doesn’t know is that Shazam is actually a young orphan boy named Billy Batson. While Superman is assigned to cover the farm market in Metropolis, he encounters the Monster Society of Evil, who attempt to steal food for their leader, Mister Mind. Superman quickly calls for backup from Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Green Lantern. Witnessing the chaos, Shazam steps in to assist the Justice League, showcasing his powers and forcing the villains to retreat. Impressed by his abilities, the Justice League invites Shazam to the Hall of Justice, offering him membership. However, Shazam declines, fearing they will reject him if they discover his true age.
Seeking guidance, Shazam consults the Wizard who granted him his powers. The Wizard advises him that trust is the foundation of relationships and encourages him to be more open with the Justice League. Sensing trouble, the Wizard directs Shazam to join the team as they track the Monster Society to their warehouse hideout.
However, Mister Mind captures the Justice League and uses a special formula created by Doctor Sivana to transform them into children, making them vulnerable to his mind control. Although de-aged, Batman avoids the mind control and escapes to the Batcave with Shazam’s help. Realizing Batman’s reluctance to trust him, Shazam reveals his true identity and shares his origin story: After assisting Batman in a fight against Two-Face, Billy Batson continued his daily life while unknowingly helping others in need—people who were actually the Wizard in disguise.
Shazam must now work with Batman to save the Justice League and stop Mister Mind’s sinister plans.
