Description: Four lifelong friends from Brooklyn—Sam, Archie, Paddy, and Billy—reunite as they grow older. Sam resides in Naples with his wife, Miriam. Archie, a twice-divorced Vietnam veteran, lives in New Jersey. Paddy lives alone in Brooklyn, still grieving the loss of his beloved wife, Sophie. Billy, a successful entrepreneur in Malibu, lives with his 31-year-old girlfriend, Lisa. After proposing to Lisa, Billy discovers an old bottle of scotch he and his friends stole during their childhood. He calls Sam and Archie, who suggest throwing a bachelor party for him in Las Vegas. With Miriam’s permission for Sam to enjoy himself, Sam picks up Archie, despite his son’s concerns about Archie’s health. They manage to convince a hesitant Paddy to join, and the group flies to Vegas to meet Billy.
Tensions arise between Billy and Paddy over Billy’s absence at Sophie’s funeral. They initially visit Binion’s but find it closed for renovations. Instead, they go to the Aria, where the wedding will take place, and are drawn to the lounge by Diana’s singing. The group convinces Diana to join them for the celebrations.
While waiting for their rooms, Archie gambles at a blackjack table, using his pension money to buy $15,000 worth of chips and winning $102,000. Fearing accusations of card counting, they quickly leave the table. Meanwhile, Billy tours the wedding chapel with Diana and becomes captivated by her. The group later participates as judges in a swimsuit competition. However, they are confronted by the casino manager, who offers them the largest penthouse suite in exchange for Archie spending his winnings at the hotel.
