Description: Lage Raho Munna Bhai, released in 2006, follows the story of Munna Bhai, a Mumbai gangster who falls in love with the voice of Jhanvi, a radio jockey. When Jhanvi announces a contest about Mahatma Gandhi’s life and beliefs, Munna devises a plan to win it with the help of his friend Circuit. He kidnaps and bribes professors to secure his victory. As the winner, Munna lies to Jhanvi, pretending to be a history professor and a Gandhi expert. Jhanvi then asks him to give a lecture on Gandhi to a group of elderly residents at her home, called the “Second Innings House.”
To prepare, Munna deeply studies Gandhi’s life and teachings.
