Description: Khokababu is a 2012 Bengali film that tells the story of Abir Roy, also known as Khoka or Khokababu, played by Dev. Khoka joins Bhaiji’s circle as an accountant, where he works alongside his eccentric senior, Khanra Babu, played by Subhashish Mukherjee. Using his cleverness, Khoka begins to enjoy the perks of office life while also deceiving Bhaiji.
Complications arise when Khoka falls in love with Bhaiji’s sister, Pooja, played by Subhashree Ganguly. Bhaiji is fiercely protective of Pooja, and anyone who shows interest in her faces severe consequences. Despite this, Khoka manages to win Pooja’s heart and gains Bhaiji’s trust by improving the efficiency of his business operations. Bhaiji even assigns Khoka the responsibility of protecting Pooja, believing his other employees are incompetent.
Khoka and Pooja secretly marry, and she stays at his house for three days to hide from Bhaiji’s rival, Ballu, played by Ashish Vidyarthi, who seeks revenge by targeting Pooja. Bhaiji eventually discovers their relationship, raising questions about whether their love can survive his overbearing protectiveness and Ballu’s vengeful intentions.
