Instead of reporting it to the authorities, fearing they might kill his livestock, the farmer decides to handle the situation himself. Ravens feeding on the infected carcasses also become affected by the disease. The farmer attempts to burn the bodies to scare the birds away, but this only enrages them, leading to violent attacks on the townspeople.
This thrilling tale highlights the struggle for survival as the community faces a terrifying threat from the increasingly aggressive ravens.
