**Storyline:**
Indrajit, a renowned Tollywood actor, returns to his hometown in Ballabhpur village after receiving the news of his father’s passing. His family includes his younger brother Partho, his mentally unstable sister Ila, and Partho’s pregnant wife, Ray. However, wherever Indrajit goes—be it the cremation grounds, his family home, a friend’s house, or his guest house—he is constantly surrounded by his assistants, bodyguards, police officers, and hordes of fans. Even a mourning ceremony at his village school turns chaotic as the villagers flock not to grieve but to get autographs and selfies with the star.
Partho becomes increasingly frustrated. On one hand, he feels jealous of his brother’s fame, believing he was always the better actor. On the other hand, he resents how Indrajit, who rarely visited their hometown, is now taking charge simply because he is the eldest son (*jyeshthoputro*). Partho believes that since he has been the sole caretaker of the family for years, he should be the one to perform their father’s last rites.
One night, in a drunken state, Partho confronts Indrajit, expressing his feelings. He claims that he is the real *jyeshthoputro* because he cared for their father in his old age, something Indrajit failed to do. Indrajit finally acknowledges the truth in Partho’s words and quietly leaves the village at dawn.
