**Storyline:**
After two unsuccessful attempts to conquer Earth, Darkseid continues his conquest of other worlds. The Justice League devises a strategy to defeat him by launching an assault on his home planet, Apokolips, while leaving the Teen Titans to protect Earth. However, Darkseid, who has been spying on the League through Cyborg, learns of their plan. As a result, the League is overwhelmed by Paradooms—genetic hybrids of Parademons and Doomsday—leading to the deaths of many heroes. The survivors are enslaved by Darkseid.
Two years later, Darkseid has successfully conquered Earth and deployed devices called “Reapers” to mine the planet’s core. The remaining heroes hold Clark Kent/Superman responsible for their failure. Clark, along with Raven—who is struggling to maintain her father Trigon’s imprisonment due to her grief over losing her teammates—seeks out John Constantine. They request his help in locating Damian Wayne, who is found leading the League of Assassins. After a brief encounter with the assassins, Damian agrees to help free his father, Batman, from Darkseid’s mind control.
The group travels to Metropolis, where they meet Lois Lane, who has enlisted the Suicide Squad. Clark and Lois reveal their plan to infiltrate LexCorp, use its Boom Tube to return to Apokolips, and kill Darkseid. However, Lex Luthor exposes himself as a mole working with Lois to gather intel on Darkseid. The team splits into two groups: one heads to Apokolips, while the other stays behind to defend the Boom Tube. Meanwhile, Darkseid, informed of Luthor’s betrayal, sends Paradooms and the mechanical Furies to attack the heroes.
