Description: Judaa Hoke Bhi is a 2022 Indian supernatural horror film written by Mahesh Bhatt and directed by Vikram Bhatt. Produced by Loneranger Productions and Houseful Motion Pictures, it is India’s first film entirely shot in a Virtual Production Studio using Unreal Engine technology. The film is backed by Mahesh Bhatt and K Sera Sera Vikram Bhatt Productions. It stars Akshay Oberoi and Aindrita Ray in lead roles, with Meherzan Mazda in a supporting role. The movie premiered on 15 July 2022.
The story revolves around Aman and Meera, a married couple struggling with their relationship. Aman avoids practical responsibilities like bills and EMIs, choosing instead to drown his sorrows in alcohol and sing in random bars. The couple’s grief stems from the loss of their only son years earlier. Meera, a successful writer, is offered a highly lucrative ghostwriting assignment in a secluded area of Uttarakhand. Just as she prepares to leave, Aman suffers an accident and slips into a coma.
Meera initially decides to stay by Aman’s side, but a mysterious creature disguised as a nurse manipulates the situation. By substituting Aman’s medicine with alcohol, the creature provokes Meera into reconsidering her decision. She eventually leaves for Uttarakhand, where she is warned by a blind man, reminiscent of a Yamdoot, to flee for her life. Ignoring the warning, Meera remains at the location. Meanwhile, the Yamdoot-like figure convinces Aman to save her, prompting him to travel to Binsar. There, Meera’s new employer reveals a sinister interest in pet monsters and herbal concoctions designed to manipulate women.
