**Storyline:**
A cyber attack exposes MI7’s active field agents, prompting the agency to bring back retired agents, including Johnny English. Currently working as a geography teacher, English secretly trains his students in espionage. After an accident incapacitates the other retired agents, English is left as the sole operative for the mission. He teams up with his old ally, Jeremy Bough, an MI7 clerk, and they gather their equipment, including explosive jelly babies and a tracker disguised as a Sherbet Fountain. Leaving their phones behind, they drive an old Aston Martin to France to trace the source of the attack.
In Antibes, they arrive at the Hotel Magnifique, where the cyber attack originated. Disguised as waiters, they steal a phone containing a photo of their next target, a yacht called the *Dot Calm*. While preparing shrimp, English accidentally sets the restaurant on fire. Boarding the yacht, they encounter Russian operative Ophelia Bhuletova but manage to escape after discovering an array of computer servers onboard.
Chasing Bhuletova’s electric BMW i3, English and Bough run out of fuel. Bhuletova finds them and agrees to meet at the Hotel de Paris in Cagnes-sur-Mer. While English meets her at the hotel bar, Bough uncovers evidence proving she is a spy. Despite Bough’s suspicions, English remains infatuated with Bhuletova, who secretly tries to eliminate him. However, English accidentally takes a pill that makes him hyperactive, thwarting her plans.
As further cyber attacks escalate, the UK Prime Minister prepares to announce a deal with Silicon Valley billionaire Jason Volta at an upcoming G12 meeting. Discovering that Volta owns the *Dot Calm* and suspecting his involvement, English and Bough return to the UK. To gather more evidence, MI7 assigns them to infiltrate Volta’s mansion. In preparation, English undergoes a virtual reality simulation of the billionaire’s estate.
