In the film, John Wick retrieves his stolen Ford Mustang Mach 1 from Abram Tarasov, the brother of his former adversary, Viggo. After a brutal confrontation, Wick spares Tarasov’s life in exchange for peace and returns home. However, his retirement is short-lived when he is confronted by Santino D’Antonio, a crime boss who demands that Wick honor a “marker,” an unbreakable vow symbolized by a blood oath medallion. When Wick refuses, Santino destroys his home with a grenade launcher, forcing Wick to seek refuge at the Continental Hotel in New York City. There, Winston reminds Wick that defying the marker violates one of the underworld’s most sacred rules, setting the stage for an intense battle for survival.
