Description: Aisha, a young and independent writer from Mumbai, travels to Delhi with her friend to gather research for her upcoming book. During her visit, she meets Dev, a local guide, and they fall in love. Aisha eventually proposes to him, and the two get married. A few months later, Aisha discovers she is pregnant. While Dev is overjoyed, Aisha feels unsure about becoming a parent. Dev reassures her, and they begin to look forward to the arrival of their baby girl, whom they plan to name Disha, combining their names.
However, their happiness is short-lived when Aisha suffers a miscarriage. Dev’s mother blames Aisha for the loss, leaving her humiliated and heartbroken. Feeling insulted, Aisha leaves Dev. Despite attempts by Dev and his family to bring her back, she refuses to return. She challenges Dev to meet her at a specific location if he truly loves her, but he fails to show up.
Seven years later, Aisha cancels her second wedding, realizing she still loves Dev. Determined to confront her past, she travels back to Delhi. During her journey, she meets Anu and her daughter, Pulti. Aisha soon learns that Anu is Dev’s second wife. She also encounters Dev on the same train, and her memories of their time together come flooding back. Aisha is further distressed to discover that Pulti’s original name was Disha, a name Dev had insisted on before marrying Anu. Anu reveals that Pulti is not Dev’s child but the daughter of her and her former lover.
As the train arrives at Dev’s station, Anu thanks Aisha for giving her Dev, acknowledging that Aisha was Dev’s first and true love. Dev exits the train but returns to tell Aisha that he had indeed come to meet her years ago but believed she wouldn’t find happiness with him.
