Description: Parag struggles to adapt to life in jail, facing mental torment but eventually learning to cope with his circumstances. When a charge-sheet is filed, he reappears in court, only to be denied bail due to the severity of the charges and concerns about evidence tampering. As months pass, Keshav dies while Parag remains in custody awaiting trial. Inside the prison, multiple storylines unfold. Parag befriends Nawab, who shows him kindness, while Ghani’s wife leaves him, prompting him to become Bababhai’s henchman. After his release on bail, Ghani discovers his wife has remarried and tragically takes his own life.
Galib bribes his way out of jail, while Joe, after securing bail, celebrates by donating his belongings, angering Parag to the point of confrontation. Parag is punished with solitary confinement but is released after ten days at Nawab’s request. Sleep-deprived, Parag is permitted to visit the hospital to see his mother and Mansi with Kabir’s assistance. Nawab warns Parag to stay away from gangsters, sharing the story of how his younger brother, influenced by a gangster, became involved in a murder, leading Nawab to kill both his brother and the gangster.
Two years later, Parag faces his final trial and is convicted under the Drug Act, sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. With two years already served, he has eight years remaining. Disillusioned by the system’s failures and the abuse he endures, Parag contemplates suicide. He turns to Kabir, asking him to persuade Bababhai to help him escape. In desperation, Parag agrees to do anything in exchange for freedom. Kabir agrees, and during a routine prison transfer, Parag is moved to Nasik jail while Kabir is sent to Kolhapur.
