Description: Harinder “Harry” Singh Nehra, portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan, is a tour guide based in Amsterdam. Describing himself as a “cheap womanizer,” Harry leads a lonely life but remains friendly and helpful, often flirting with his clients, which puts his job at risk. One day, after dropping a family off at the airport, Harry encounters Sejal Zaveri, played by Anushka Sharma, a member of the same family who has lost her engagement ring and seeks his help to find it. Reluctant at first, Harry agrees to assist her to avoid a potential complaint that could cost him his job.
As they embark on a journey across Europe to retrace the family’s steps and locate the ring, Harry and Sejal grow closer. Harry reveals his past, explaining how he left his village, Nurmahal, for Canada with dreams of becoming a singer, but ended up as a tour guide after his dreams fell through. Throughout their search, Harry develops feelings for Sejal but keeps them hidden, knowing she is engaged to Rupen, played by Kavi Shastri.
Their search leads them to a criminal named Ghyassuddin Mohammed Qureshi, also known as “Gas,” played by Chandan Roy Sanyal, who allegedly stole the ring. However, when Harry confronts Gas, he is brutally beaten by his men. Later, while searching her bag for antiseptics to treat Harry’s wounds, Sejal discovers the ring had been in her possession all along. She chooses not to reveal this immediately, as she enjoys spending time with Harry and begins to fall for him as well.
The story takes them to Frankfurt for the wedding of Harry’s friend Mayank, played by Aru Krishansh Verma, and Irina, portrayed by Evelyn Sharma. The couple notices the undeniable chemistry between Harry and Sejal and questions their relationship. After the wedding, Harry and Sejal argue about their feelings. Harry refuses to admit his emotions, believing he is not worthy of her, and Sejal decides to return home.
