**Storyline:**
The story revolves around Chan, a police officer working undercover within a powerful gang, unbeknownst to anyone except his boss, Wong. Simultaneously, the gang leader, Hon Sam, infiltrates the Hong Kong Police Force with his own moles, including Lau Kin-ming, who rises quickly through the ranks.
The narrative jumps ten years later, where Chan is still deep undercover, struggling with the immense stress of his double life. Wong reassures him that they are close to dismantling Hon Sam’s empire. Meanwhile, Lau becomes a key player in the police force’s efforts to investigate and surveil Hon Sam.
As the police prepare to raid Hon Sam’s operations, Lau discovers that Wong is communicating with someone inside the gang using Morse code. However, he fails to identify Chan as the mole. Before the raid, Lau secretly warns Hon Sam, allowing the gangster to destroy evidence and evade capture.
The botched raid reveals to Wong that there is a mole within the police force, just as Hon Sam realizes there is a traitor in his ranks. Both sides become determined to uncover the infiltrators. Fearing for Chan’s safety, Wong plans to extract him from the operation but is captured by Hon Sam’s men. In a desperate attempt to extract information, they kill Wong in front of Chan, escalating the tension and stakes of the cat-and-mouse game between the two sides.
